The Process

Four unhurried appointments. No surprises in between.

From the first evaluation through the annual check-in years later — the same audiologist, the same room, the same patient relationship. This is how independent audiology is supposed to feel.

01

Evaluation

A full diagnostic workup with Dr. Alvarez. Unhurried, adult-paced time. You leave with a copy of your audiogram, a clear explanation, and — only if it's warranted — a discussion of next steps.

02

Lifestyle Consultation

Restaurants, grandchildren, the phone, the dinner table, the breeze off the Atlantic. We talk about your week before we talk about devices, because the device should fit the week — not the other way around.

03

Fitting & Verification

The hearing aid is fit, programmed to your prescription, and verified with real-ear measurement. Most chain stores skip the last step. We do not.

04

Follow-Up Care

Two-week, six-week, and annual follow-ups included. Same audiologist for the life of the device — typically five to seven years.

Clinic Standards

What every patient gets, by default.

These aren't add-ons. They're how every appointment runs.

  • DoctorEvery evaluation, fitting, and follow-up is performed by an Au.D. — never a technician.
  • TimeNinety-minute initial evaluation. No "twenty-minute hearing test" rushing.
  • BrandIndependent recommendation from every major manufacturer, not one.
  • VerifyReal-Ear Measurement at every fitting. The prescription is verified, not assumed.
  • TrialTrial period included with every device fit. Adjustment, exchange, or return per our terms.
  • Follow-UpTwo-week, six-week, and annual visits included for the life of the device.
  • RepairCleaning, adjustment, and repair for most major brands — including aids fit elsewhere.
Insurance & Financing

We work with most major plans — and we'll verify yours before your appointment.

Our team handles insurance verification personally — and has a way of making the financial side feel like the simplest part of the visit. CareCredit financing is available for qualified patients.

Medicare: Diagnostic audiology services are typically covered; the hearing aid device itself often is not. We'll explain exactly what your plan covers before any commitment.
